# FAQ — Prayer Times in Portugal

## What calculation method does salat.top use?

Most mosques use the Muslim World League (MWL) or the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) method. Each mosque's listing shows the active calculation method.

## How often are prayer times updated?

Daily. Salat and iqama times for the current day are refreshed every few hours from the source mosque management platform.

## Can I embed the prayer times on my own site?

The HTML pages are public. For programmatic access, use the [LLMs index](https://salat.top/llms.txt) or the [API catalog](https://salat.top/.well-known/api-catalog).

## Is the data free for agents?

Yes — see the [auth.md](https://salat.top/auth.md) registration document. All prayer data on salat.top is publicly accessible; no API key is required.

## Which cities are covered?

Lisbon, Porto, Faro, Setúbal, Braga, Coimbra, and 40+ other Portuguese municipalities. See the [Monthly Timetable](https://salat.top/monthly-timetable) for full coverage.

## How are iqama times determined?

Iqama times are reported directly by each mosque through Mawaqit / Masjidbox / Masjidal. If a mosque's iqama time is wrong, please contact that mosque to correct it in the source system.
